This lot on a hill had wonderful views in two directions. The new House had to accommodate a large family and many shared spaces. All of the family areas were to be oriented toward the views and connected to outdoor living spaces.

Level changes allowed for views through and over rooms. A Playroom, connected to the yard is set three feet below the Kitchen so that the Playroom, the outdoor Play area and views beyond are all visible from the Kitchen. The Family Room is offset from the Kitchen and Dining areas. Decks and terraces are located on three sides of the house, providing varying views and direct connections to the outdoors.
