A small Cape on the Sudbury River was tight on entertainment space and did not take advantage of the river views. The Cape roof limited the headroom on the stairs and throughout the Second Floor.

The House grew in all directions while retaining the shape and style of the original. Interior walls were opened up and a glazed Family Room and Screened Porch were added, allowing for River views from most rooms.
